We came across Small Notebook a while back and have delighted in reading her organized and thorough articles. We were first drawn to this site by Rachel’s focus on simplicity and uncomplicated living, concepts we are incorporating into our lives as well.
These things stood out to us about her site:
- Aesthetically pleasing. The site is clean and simple with easy to navigate organization.
- Personal. It’s almost as though you’ve actually picked up Rachel’s small notebook, as you can easily find whatever you’re looking for.
- Original and innovative. The articles focus on practical issues and areas of simplicity in a way that you don’t normally think about. We subscribed to her RSS feed early on when we realized that her tips added value to our own lives.
- Outward thinking. Rachel enhances the readability of her writing by sharing information and links from other blogs, making her site stand out as more than just a blog about her personal life.
