In Indonesia teachers are described as “guru’s”. And this is what I shall be, in 55 days. It will be an interesting transition as we make the move to a predominantly Muslim nation to share our lives with her people. Being in that environment will pose many challenges to Jessica & I as we try to help students develop as “Servant Leaders with a Biblical Christian Worldview.”
Tomorrow we begin our church tour, visiting four churches in as many weeks. On the 25th we will be back in Yakima, Washington where I have been invited to preach again. I hope that the message the Lord gives me will benefit the people there. We have gained such a love for that church.
With just a few weeks left to finish preparations, we are feeling the stress of the move. Please pray for us that our attitude would be that of the Lord’s when He faced the difficult task of submitting to God’s will and dying on the Cross. He went willingly, with faith in His father. May we have that same faith as we commence this work… as “guru’s”.
