This past Sunday, Jess & I took Jeremiah up to Yakima, WA to preach at Ahtanum Pioneer Church, where I interned/interim’d this past summer. It was really great to be back up there. We were able to stay with our friends Peggy & Darrell, whom we lived with when we were there last. They have basically become Jeremiah’s Yakima version of grandparents, his Yaki-Ma and Yaki-Pa respectively.
Getting back to preaching was such a blessing. I forget sometimes how much I love being behind the pulpit; actually I usually put the pulpit between the pews and preach in front of it.
This weekend’s message was on some of the basics of God’s will, entitled “What in the World Should I be Doing.” I’ll post an outline here later this week when I can include a link to download the message.
